Job summary

South Lincs Vet Group in Heckington, Lincolnshire, is seeking a Veterinary Surgeon to join our rural community clinic. You’ll work with the clinical team to deliver high-quality patient and client care across a varied caseload, 40 hours over 4 days.

You should have a veterinary degree and RCVS registration (or eligibility), strong communication skills, and enjoy both independent and collaborative work. We offer private medical insurance, CPD support, and a supportive, values-led team culture.

Qualifications

• A veterinary degree and registration (or eligibility to register) with the RCVS.
• Experience working in clinical practice with growing confidence in routine medical and surgical cases.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships with clients and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality patient and client care across a varied caseload.
• Work collaboratively with the wider practice team and support the main site as needed.
• Manage consultations and surgical cases within a 40-hour week over 4 days.
