In the heart of North London next to the River Lea is our highly popular first opinion Tottenham practice, and they are looking for a veterinary surgeon to take the helm.
We are looking for a like‑minded colleague who will be committed to their team, clients and their beloved animals, and really make this role their own.
Tottenham’s charm is aided by its incredible support team, including a senior nurse and experienced student and trainee nurses, all passionate about veterinary care.
This is a sole charge position that has a perfectly manageable caseload for a confident GP first‑opinion vet. You will be able to comfortably balance morning consultations, perform routine surgeries during the day, catch up on admin and then round up with evening consults.
This role involves a 4‑day week, Monday to Thursday (with an early finish on Thursday) plus a 1:4 branch Saturday morning and 1:8 Hospital Sunday rotation. You will be rota ‘d to up to 2 bank holidays per year in Wanstead Hospital and be included in the last‑resort on‑call rotation, which is rarely used.
You will be fully supported by a highly experienced regional manager and regional head vet, as well as Wanstead 24‑hour hospital for referrals and a rotating night team for OOH care.
Salary band: £60,000 to £90,000 FTE, depending on prior experience and allowing room for professional growth.
