A progressive veterinary practice in Norfolk/Suffolk seeks a Veterinary Surgeon passionate about animal care and team engagement. Veterinary Surgeon - Old Golf House, Thetford & Watton, Salary up to £60k depending on experience
The Old Golf House is a forward-thinking, progressive practice committed to excellence, support, friendliness, loyalty, and honesty. We encourage our team members to pursue their interests; for instance, we currently have nurses with anaesthesia certificates supporting our six vets with diverse interests from exotics to internal medicine. Working across two first opinion small animal sites in the beautiful Norfolk/Suffolk countryside, you will have the autonomy to make a meaningful impact on your team and the client experience.
We seek a vet who brings energy, enthusiasm, confidence, and professionalism, and who can share these qualities with the team and clients. A genuine interest in engaging in QI projects and providing outstanding animal care with high service standards is essential.
This position is available up to full-time, including a 1:4 share of the Saturday rota, with no OOH requirements. Please discuss flexible working options that suit you!
This role offers ample opportunities for progression and fulfillment, with comprehensive clinical management training fully funded. You will be supported by an excellent team, including two experienced head nurses and a practice director, all dedicated to fostering a supportive environment focused on wellbeing, support, and career development. We are part of a large, friendly regional network with regular visits from cardiology and orthopaedics certificate holders.
