A leading veterinary care provider in the UK is seeking a veterinary surgeon for their 24-hour center in Ashton. This role offers a supportive environment with clinical freedom, a 4-day workweek, and numerous benefits including private medical insurance and CPD opportunities. Join a dedicated team committed to exceptional pet care and work-life balance.
We're excited to announce that due to growth at our 24-hour centre in Ashton, we are recruiting for a further veterinary surgeon to help meet our patient care needs.
Ashton has historically been a leader in practising minimally invasive surgical techniques, which continues today. We take referrals from Medivet and other independent vet practices in the region, and it is the only 24-hour practice in the area.
We aim to build on the strong surgical foundations of this practice with the addition of another certificate holder. A Medicine or ECC certificate would be ideal, but we welcome applications from candidates interested in joining a highly motivated team with clinical freedom to develop their interests and provide high standards of care to pets in the Manchester area.
The clinic features a large prep area, imaging suite, bespoke dog and cat wards, and a separate isolation area. It has good links to downtown Liverpool and the neighboring Pennines, offering a balanced city and rural environment for your leisure time.
We offer a 4-day workweek, with no OOH duties, and the option of either 1:3 Saturdays or 1:6 full weekends on-site. The site is supported by a highly experienced OOH team, ensuring good handovers and excellent patient care.
We are committed to work-life balance and are open to flexible working arrangements or school-friendly hours.
