Job Description

Introduction

Our Client is a corporately owned practice offering a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and motivated Equine Veterinary Surgeon to join their expanding team. This role is ideal for a vet seeking to make a real impact within a growing, progressive, and highly regarded equine service.

Working Hours / Rota

This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week over 5 days, with a 1:4 weeknight and 1:4 weekend on-call rota. A work vehicle is provided for business use.

Role Description

The successful candidate will cover a 30-mile radius, delivering a full range of equine services, from vaccinations and pre-purchase examinations to advanced diagnostics including lameness investigations and ultrasound. They will enjoy the support of a close-knit and knowledgeable team and have access to a high level of ambulatory equipment. This is a brilliant opportunity for someone looking to work with a proactive, supportive, and forward-thinking team.

Team Size

This practice operates with a large team across separate Farm, Equine, and Small Animal departments, comprising over 20 vets.

The practice is deeply rooted in the local community, sponsoring events such as the Eccleshall Show and running educational events for clients.
