Veterinary Surgeon – Independent Practice

Are you a confident vet looking for a friendly, independent setting where you can balance consulting, surgery, and genuine work-life balance? This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established practice with excellent facilities, a supportive team, and the freedom to develop your own clinical interests.

The exact salary within this banding will be commensurate with experience.

Location Sheffield, South Yorkshire

Your Role
  • Hours: 4 days per week Mondays or Fridays off for a permanent long weekend (Part-time considered)
  • Consults: 15 minutes as standard, with flexibility for more complex cases
  • OOH: None – covered by Vets Now
  • Caseload: Routine GP work plus varied surgical caseload including orthopaedics, chemotherapy, amputations, and emergency work
  • Support: 6 RVNs, 3 student nurses, and a team of experienced vets, including certificate holders in orthopaedics and imaging
