Medivet Biggin Hill is a well-established practice based in Surrey, supported by our 24-hour hospital in Beckenham and a network of neighbouring Medivet practices.

The practice is in a prime location with a high local reputation, a strong and loyal client base, and is seeking an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join its friendly team. The role offers a great work-life balance and the chance to be part of a stable, long-running practice.

Role Accountabilities

In this role, you will:

• Deliver exceptional clinical care during consultations and procedures.
• Provide excellent care to clients, with clear updates on patients.
• Maintain high standards of regulatory, practice, and operational compliance.
• Prepare tailored, accurate treatment and care plans with clear cost estimates.
• Engage, mentor, and develop your team, enhancing their skills.
• Complete clinical handovers and arrange patient transfers for out-of-hours or enhanced care, if relevant.
• Support and share clinical best practices within and across practices and the wider Medivet community.

Your Skills and Experience

• RCVS registered Veterinary Surgeon.
• Experience delivering exceptional care to patients and clients.
• Proven ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Demonstrate clinical leadership skills.
• Experience fostering a progressive clinical culture.
• Support nurse consultations and Schedule 3 procedures, understanding their impact on practice performance.
• Use coaching and influencing skills to maximize team potential.
