Are you an experienced Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon looking for a role where you'll enjoy genuine clinical autonomy, the backing of an independent employer and the opportunity to become part of a growing, family‑owned veterinary group?

We're representing a highly regarded independent practice in West Sussex that is seeking a Veterinary Surgeon to join the team initially on a fixed‑term basis to provide maternity cover. This opportunity would suit a Veterinary Surgeon with three or more years' UK experience who is confident managing a varied first‑opinion caseload and is comfortable with sole charge when required.

You will enjoy an excellent mix of consultations and surgery (approximately 50/50), giving you the opportunity to fully utilise your clinical skills while developing long‑term relationships with clients and their pets.

Working Pattern

• Full‑time (40 hours per week)
• 1 in 3 Saturday rota
• 15‑minute consultations
• Sole charge on a regular basis
• No out‑of‑hours
• Part‑time applicants also considered for those wishing to work predominantly from one site
