Job summary

Rayleigh Vets for Pets is seeking a Veterinary Surgeon to join a highly experienced team. We’re open to full-time or part-time hours with flexible working patterns.

For a full-time position, the weekend rota is 1 in 4, with Saturday 9am–5pm and Sunday 10am–4pm; there are no on-call or OOH requirements. We offer a competitive salary and relocation/welcome bonus, plus robust CPD and career development support.

At Rayleigh Vets for Pets, we’re looking for a Veterinary Surgeon to join our close-knit and experienced team. We’re open to full-time or part-time hours, with flexibility around your working pattern.

The Role

You’ll be joining a highly experienced and supportive team, including:

• 1 Head Veterinary Surgeon
• 2 Veterinary Surgeons
• 4 Registered Veterinary Nurses
• 1 Student Veterinary Nurse
• 4 Veterinary Care Assistants
• A dedicated Client Care team

We’re looking for a vet who is confident with routine medical and surgical cases and comfortable working in sole charge when required.

For a full-time position, our weekend rota is 1 in 4 weekends, with Saturday shifts from 9am-5pm and Sunday shifts from 10am-4pm. There are no on-call, bank holiday or OOH requirements.

We’re happy to discuss flexible working options, including part-time hours, to find a pattern that works for you.
