An independent veterinary practice in Orpington is seeking a dedicated vet to join their close-knit team. The role involves managing routine medical and surgical cases, with a focus on excellent communication to support clients in treatment planning. At Anderson Vets in Orpington, we are committed to providing exceptional care to animals. Our well-equipped practice includes laparoscopy, ultrasound, dental X-rays, IDEXX labs, rhinoscopy, and endoscopy. With five full-time vets, including certificate holders in ophthalmology and cardiology, we accept local referrals and host visiting surgeons for in-house orthopaedics and advanced soft tissue procedures. Our team also comprises six RVNs, one SVN, and two VCA’s.
As a busy, independent practice with a close-knit team, we pride ourselves on supporting each other to deliver the highest standard of care.
We seek a motivated and confident vet who is competent in handling routine medical and surgical cases, possesses excellent communication skills to support and inform clients for treatment planning, and is a team player. A candidate with a surgical bias is desired but not essential.
Inside the M25, with good train links to central London.
This position is for an experienced vet comfortable working sole charge and managing emergencies. A surgical bias is desirable but not mandatory.
