A leading veterinary group in Nottingham seeks a Small Animal Vet to join their dynamic team. This role offers new graduates an opportunity to develop their clinical skills and be supported in achieving professional growth. With comprehensive training programs and an encouraging team environment, you'll be well-equipped to thrive in this rewarding veterinary practice.
Looking for that ideal job in a well-equipped veterinary group with its own OOHS, with a large, experienced team around you for support, and a leadership team that listens to you as an individual? Then, the Ambivet Group would be perfect for you.
We are looking for a new Small Animal Vet to join our forward-thinking group, made up of 6 sites, one being our hospital branch. Ambivet is a large group that invests and encourages certificate study and ongoing development. You will be joining a team that values clinical excellence, learning from each other and helping everyone to reach their potential.
The Hospital is well equipped with all the usual ultrasound, radiography, dentistry, endoscopic, surgical (inc laparoscopic), and ICU equipment you would expect in a top-tier 1st opinion Hospital, including our own internal laboratory. With a visiting CT Scanner to ensure even better care for patients
What do we want from you?
The ideal candidates will bring new ideas and experiences, adding to the energy and positivity of our hard-working team; we want you to contribute to case discussions, clinical meetings and the provision of a progressive veterinary service to our clients. We are looking for a 1-2 year new graduate that is looking to expand their clinical knowledge and be part of a bigger team with support.
Covering our own OOHS may sound intense elsewhere, but with our manageable rota full RVN support and generous time off in lieu, it is designed to be sustainable, not exhausting. Giving you true continuity of care for your clients without handing over cases to an unfamiliar OOHs provider. Night and weekend shifts are incorporated into the veterinary rotation to ensure comprehensive exposure to all aspects of veterinary practice.
As well as being a great place to work, here are some of our other incentives:
Our wider Rewards package includes:
CPD Allowance and access to a suite of internal courses developed by our in-house learning & development team of Vets and Nurses
Free Knowledge Hub offering over 260 courses and 235 webinars covering a variety of clinical and non-clinical topics
6.6 weeks annual leave plus the option to buy a further 4 weeks or sell up to 1 week!
