Our Group:
At Pet Practice, we are an exciting, independent, growing veterinary group that has been giving a fresh look to working in the veterinary sector for the past fifteen years. We are not a corporate focused on profit to the detriment of our clients and staff. With thirteen practices, we are neither a small independent at risk from competition or takeover nor a large corporate. We have the security of being a sizeable veterinary group but with the benefits and personal touch of being family owned. Independent is what we love and how we will remain. We do not lock our staff into working for us under the premise of joint ventures or other restrictions. At Pet Practice, we lead the way in staff packages and are proud that all income earned is reinvested into our staff and facilities. We have led in salaries, holidays (up to six weeks per annum), and scheduled major refits every ten years to keep our clinics modern. We continue to grow, adding new practices, and invest in our team and facilities.
Our staff’s loyalty is built on mutual respect and working with your requirements to create a suitable job role. No on-call duties and flexible rotas ensure your work-life balance remains healthy. Hear what our staff say on our website recruitment page.
Our Newbury Vacancy:
Come and work in this vibrant market town, home to Newbury Racecourse and surrounded by beautiful countryside in southern England. Our lovely Newbury surgery, opened last year, features modern facilities including digital radiography, ultrasonography, and an in-house laboratory. Dedicated surgical facilities are available for both our use and visiting specialists in ophthalmology, soft tissue, and orthopaedics.
We seek dynamic vets with at least two years’ experience to join our team. The initial shared rota is still under the sole charge of our owner Ben, with part-time vet Chloe and medical and surgical teams. Ben is looking for help with building the caseload. Support is always available from our twenty surgeons and seventy staff across the group, as well as on-site nurses. We pride ourselves on teamwork.
