Veterinary Surgeon – No OOH and Salary up to £60k, depending on experience plus benefits.

Severn Edge Vets Much Wenlock

Are you an experienced Vet with a passion for clinical improvement?

No OOH! We offer a flexible 4-day working week, with 1 in 4 Saturday mornings, and flexible weekly hours. The role is primarily based at our Much Wenlock Branch, with cover required at our Madeley & Broseley branches as needed.

We are offering a salary of up to £60,000 FTE, with 20-minute consultations, excellent support staff, and a wide range of in-house certificate holders and expertise.

Key Practice Features:
  1. Part of Severn Edge, comprising 10 sites including our 24-hour Bridgnorth Hospital.
  2. Within our Hub, we have 4 practices with certificate holders in Dentistry, Feline Medicine, Surgery, and ongoing training in Dermatology & Diagnostic Imaging. Support from across the hub and wider group for case referrals (e.g., behaviour/orthopaedics).
  3. Collaborative veterinary team for discussing clinical cases.
  4. Supported by experienced registered veterinary nurses, patient care assistants, and receptionists.
  5. State-of-the-art equipment including a new dental machine, dental x-ray, laparoscopic/endoscopic tools, digital x-ray, large consulting rooms, and an outside paddock.
  6. On-site trained GDP advisors and OV.
  7. Located within walking distance of Wenlock Edge and Much Wenlock Town Centre.
  8. Our rota, based on full-time hours, promotes a good work-life balance with a 4-day week and 1 in 4 Saturday mornings, with no OOH. We are flexible to accommodate your preferences.
