We are seeking a Veterinary Surgeon for a consults-only role, open to permanent (full-time/part-time) or long-term locum candidates.

Key Details

• Consults only
• No surgical requirement
• Flexible working patterns available
• Must be available Mondays, Fridays, and Saturdays (Every other Saturday 8:00am1:00pm)
• Practice hours: 8:00am - 7:00pm
• Option for long days with a 2 - hour break from consults for admin and vets lunches.
• Shorter shifts available (e.g. 8:00am - 4:40pm)
• Flexible lunch (30 - 60 minutes)
• 10 - minute consults, with flexibility depending on case type
• Minimum of 2 consulting vets at all times (typically 3)

The Practice

Busy, well-established small animal practice

Strong team support and collaborative working culture

Team of:

• 6 permanent vets + 2 long-term locums
• 8 RVNs
• 6 nursing assistants
• 6 admin team members
• Additional regular locum support

Facilities

• Fully equipped theatre (soft tissue & orthopaedics) + dental suite
• Digital X-ray & ultrasound
• In-house lab + external lab support
• 5 consulting rooms
• Visiting orthopaedic specialists for advanced procedures
