Job Description

Introduction

Our Client is a corporately owned practice located in Kenilworth, providing high-quality veterinary care in a supportive and friendly environment.

Working Hours / Rota

This position is full-time, working 40 hours per week over 4 days. The role includes a 1 in 6 weekend rota at a nearby 24-hour facility in Leamington Spa.

Role Description

The successful Veterinary Surgeon will manage a diverse caseload involving both medical and surgical procedures. Responsibilities include delivering outstanding clinical care, preparing accurate treatment and care plans, mentoring and supporting the team, and maintaining high standards of clinical and operational compliance. This role offers excellent professional development and the opportunity to engage with internal CPD communities and funded certificate opportunities.

Team Size

The team comprises 2 Vets, 1 RVN, 3 CCAs, and 1 PCA, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.

Practice Details

The practice offers three consultation rooms, separate dog and cat waiting areas, and enjoys excellent transport links, including proximity to the local train station.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will be an RCVS registered Veterinary Surgeon with experience delivering exceptional clinical care and client communication. Candidates should demonstrate clinical leadership, experience supporting nurse consults and schedule 3 procedures, and possess strong mentoring and influencing skills.
