Job description

We have a fantastic opportunity for a confident Small Animal Vet to join our team at Vets for Pets, serving Saffron Walden & Haverhill.

Enjoy complete clinical autonomy with the support of a dedicated team, providing gold standard care focused on diagnostics and affordability, without sales targets.

Our fully equipped clinics feature dental x-ray, digital x-ray, ultrasound with Doppler, and laparoscopic equipment.

Our team comprises 6 Vets, 6 Nurses, and 3 Student Nurses across both practices. We are a close-knit team that values fitting into our culture—perhaps over a cup of tea!

We seek a Vet who excels at building personal connections, values customer service, and enjoys a team environment where clients are known by name. Calmness under pressure and a friendly smile are essential, with a passion for consulting and clinical work.

This role is primarily based in Haverhill, with opportunities to work across both locations. We are flexible for part-time applicants and require 1:4 Saturday shifts (9am-6pm). In the near future, Sunday hours (10am-4pm) will also be part of the rota, but no OOHs are involved.
