We are located in Havant, in beautiful southern England, with easy access to the beach, countryside, and a busy city centre, as well as direct transport links into London and other cities.

About us:

The practice, owned by two veterinary surgeons, has a team of two vets and additional clinical and non-clinical support staff of 8 people. It is supported by four sister surgeries with a 20-vet team. Our team includes vets with experience and interests in medicine, ophthalmology, orthopaedics, exotics, cardiology, and imaging. We work closely together. Our Havant practice features a large theatre, prep area, and modern equipment, which is continually upgraded to meet team and patient needs.

Our offer to you:

1. Salary £50,000 - £65,000 (FTE) DOE.
2. £3,000 signing bonus (non-agency only).
3. Average of 40 hours per week if full-time.
4. Combination of 15-minute and 30-minute appointments (all initial appointments for ill patients are 30 minutes, allowing thorough consultations without rushing).
5. Preference for surgical/consulting ratio.
6. Pension scheme.
7. No OOH (Out of Hours) work.
8. Holiday entitlement increases with service + birthday leave.
9. RCVS, VDS, BVA membership fees paid.
10. CPD budget of £1,750 plus 5 days CPD leave (FTE).
11. Certificates encouraged and supported, separate from CPD budget.
12. Income protection insurance.
13. Life assurance of 4 times annual salary for next of kin.
14. Private medical insurance if required.
15. Generous staff (and immediate family) discounted pet care.
