About the Company

Voo Veterinary group is an independent family run business currently based in the Surrey and London regions. We pride ourselves in offering integrated health care to our clients and their loved pets to provide the best service possible.

About the Role

We are looking for a vet who has mastered the basics and is looking to start developing non-routine surgical procedures as part of their repertoire. This candidate would be comfortable with both sole charge and working as part of a team to work up and diagnose cases in an effective manner. The candidate must be very pro-active in their approach and want to develop the clinics and build strong client-relation bonds. We pride ourselves on our ability to not only care for the patients, but the clients as well. They will be open to learning, in a supportive on site and remote support structure.

Responsibilities

  • Master the basics of veterinary practice.
  • Develop primary and non-routine surgical procedures.
  • Stabilise emergencies and employ further tests quickly.
  • Maximise the use of specialists in our Surbiton hospital
  • Understand and follow clinical protocols as required
  • Proactively address clinical issues
  • Collaborate with senior vets on treatment plans, both on site and remotely
  • Select appropriate imaging/tests
  • Implement value based pricing
  • Monitor own footfall and compliance, making improvements as necessary

Qualifications

  • Veterinary degree from an accredited institution.
  • Licensure to practice veterinary medicine.
