Permanent. Full time, part time applicants welcomed.

Hours

40 hours per week over 4 days, 1:5 weekends (shift based, not full weekend, based at Frome), 1 weeknight in every 2 weeks.

Role and Responsibilities

We are looking for a Small Animal Vet to join our large first opinion practice. Applicants must be confident with consulting, working within the theatre and hospital environment, enjoy working as part of a team, and should be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills and a desire to progress.

We invest heavily in training across the team and are proud to have the latest equipment and modern facilities to offer the most up-to-date advice and treatment for our clients and their pets.

Our sites have excellent facilities including well-equipped consult rooms, state-of-the-art theatres, isolation units, onsite lab, ultrasound, digital x-ray, all sites are cat friendly ISFM with designated cat-friendly appointments, laser therapy, dedicated staff room, and a brand new CT coming in March!

About Us

We are a progressive practice based over 5 sites: Frome, Melksham, Trowbridge, Warminster, and Westbury. All sites are well equipped and supported to offer high-quality services. In 2024, we will be acquiring a CT scanner at our Frome hospital site for 24-hour care.

Our team has decades of experience, with three Lead Vets supporting clinicians and Clinical Directors overseeing practices. Our interests include orthopaedics, dermatology, ECC, exotics, cardiology, dentistry, internal medicine, ultrasound, laparoscopic surgery, and several certificates in Cardiology, Medicine, Surgery, and ISFM Medicine in cats.

We enjoy a vibrant social environment, celebrating birthdays with cake and participating in events like the Glastonbury Festival. We actively support our local communities and charities, including Cats Protection, Guide Dogs, and Friends of Animals Wales.
