The Package
Our Client is a corporately owned Hospital seeking to hire an enthusiastic first opinion clinician with a passion for surgery. This is a full-time role, offering 38 hours per week, spread over 4 days, with a set day off each week. Weekend duties are shared, with 1:10 long weekends (Saturday and Sunday), followed by the Monday off, and 1:10 short weekends (Saturday only). Out-of-hours responsibilities are limited to inpatients only, ensuring a manageable workload.
The successful candidate will join a friendly and highly skilled team. The role involves a variety of work, including routine consultations and surgeries, allowing you to build lasting relationships with clients and patients while enjoying a challenging caseload. Support will be provided to explore your interests and further develop your skills.
The practice is equipped with advanced tools like digital radiography, endoscopy, dental radiography, and an on-site CT scanner. The team includes certificate holders in surgery and medicine, with access to visiting specialists in cardiology (HeartVets), physiotherapy, and ophthalmology. The practice can handle a wide range of cases for both companion animals and exotics, including small mammals. Our nursing team supports the veterinary team with imaging, lump removal, and stage 1 dental scale and polishes.
