Are you an experienced Vet looking to join a team of progressive and forward-thinking clinicians?
Are you looking to be part of a practice that promotes good work/life balance? Then we have just the role for you...
We are looking to expand our team and services to our clients here in the coastal town of Eastbourne. We are looking for a caring, compassionate, forward-thinking veterinary surgeon, ideally a cert holder or someone who is currently studying for a cert to join our well-established and highly experienced team. This is a first opinion, small animal role, where case continuity and high-quality care is encouraged. You will be working with a large clinical team with a supportive culture to share ideas, discuss cases and learn new skills.
We are well equipped with all the usual toys, plus video gastroscopy/bronchoscopy, dental radiography, tonopen, slit lamp, and an extensive in-house lab including blood gas analysis/EPOC and coagulation testing available. In addition to peripatetic specialists, we currently have certificate holders in radiology, medicine, advanced veterinary practice (general practice), surgery and behaviour.
We are a VetsNow host practice, therefore, there is no overnight work and excellent overnight in-patient care, with a close working relationship between the VetsNow and the St Anne’s teams. We are also lucky to share our building with an orthopaedic specialist referral. We have an exceptional nurse team who support our vet team fully with case management.
For over 70 years, we have been Eastbourne's largest veterinary practice, currently employing 13 vets and 20 RVNs/SVNs. We are RCVS accredited, and our long-standing team are very passionate about our patients care. Continuity is something our clients appreciate, along with a quality service.
We have separate dog, cat, rabbit, and isolation wards as well as having a partnership with VetsNow, who run an out-of-hours emergency service from our main surgery at St. Anne's providing 24-hour care for our patients.
We have an interesting caseload and work to a very high clinical standard with the aid of some fantastic equipment! Being located in Eastbourne provides an opportunity for a great lifestyle situated at the edge of the South Downs and by the beach so ideal for swimmers, paddle boarders and rowers! We are also close to Brighton and within easy reach of London.
At Linnaeus, we are committed to supporting the physical and mental health of all our Associates. We have an amazing team of Mental Health First Aiders (MHFA) across our practices and central support office in addition to a confidential Employee Assistance Programme which is available for everyone.
