Remuneration
£70,000 per annum

Heathlands (Medivet Wool) is a 4-vet small animal practice in a purpose-built, spacious facility in the lovely Dorset countryside near the coastline, offering outdoor pursuits, water sports, and access to nearby towns such as Dorchester, Weymouth, Poole, and Bournemouth.

We have a strong team ethos, focusing on providing excellent clinical care, owner communication, and customer service. Our well-equipped practice includes diagnostic, imaging, and surgical equipment, supported by motivated nursing and front-of-house teams. Our goal is to ensure each day ends with the satisfaction of providing great care while maintaining a healthy work/life balance.

We are expanding our practice and seeking a Veterinary Surgeon to join our team, working alongside a highly experienced Branch Partner with a surgical certificate who handles advanced operations from the local area in this idyllic location.

In This Role You Will

• Deliver exceptional clinical care during consultations and procedures
• Provide clear updates and compassionate care to clients
• Maintain high standards of regulatory, practice, and operational compliance
• Develop tailored, accurate treatment and care plans with cost estimates
• Engage, mentor, and develop team members, enhancing their skills
• Complete clinical handovers and coordinate patient transfers for out-of-hours or advanced care
• Share clinical best practices within and across practices and the wider Medivet community
