Vets for Pets Bridgend is seeking a capable veterinary surgeon to join our forward-thinking practice. The role offers a competitive salary up to £70,000 depending on experience and a supportive environment with a focus on professional development.
We provide real flexibility in terms of full-time, part-time, short or long days, and extended lunch breaks to suit staff, plus a comprehensive benefits package including CPD, memberships, and a contributory pension.
If you are looking to join a forward‑thinking, flexible veterinary practice that pays up to £70,000 depending on experience, this is the right role for you.
Our Bridgend practice is located within a two‑mile drive of the M4, is only a 20‑minute drive from the South Wales coast, and is close to Cardiff. The recently revamp created a spacious environment that includes four excellent consultation rooms, a kennel and cattery, two theatres, a preparation theatre, a full in‑house laboratory, an isolation area, a washroom, and a separate office.
The practice is supported by a dedicated team of four veterinarians, six nurses (including two students and four qualified nurses), seven veterinary care assistants, a reception team, and an experienced practice manager. Colleagues participate in charity events and are at the heart of the practice’s achievements during and outside of working hours.
We offer real flexibility in terms of full‑time, part‑time, short or long days and even extended lunch breaks to allow staff to enjoy walks along the beach. The practice is happy to support training and certifications that help you advance your career.
As a key member of the team you should ideally have a solid general knowledge of surgery and a strong medical background. We are also open to discussing opportunities with candidates at the beginning of their veterinary journey.
