Veterinary Surgeon Role

As a Veterinary Surgeon, you will play a pivotal role as a trusted leader, collaborating with the senior management team through Clinical Directors. We are looking for 2 night Vets, one on a permanent basis and one on a fixed-term contract. (Accommodation can be available for the FTC role.)

Responsibilities:
  1. Take overall responsibility for the management and operations of the branch clinic.
  2. Perform routine surgical procedures, including neutering, dentals, and mass removal.
  3. Uphold clinical policies and SOPs, ensuring team compliance and documentation upkeep.
  4. Maintain operational efficiency and seamless staff communication for optimal patient care, especially in emergency cases.
  5. Implement and uphold RCVS Practice Standards scheme standards.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience working as a Veterinary Surgeon, Veterinarian, or in a similar role.
  • At least 3 years of experience working in an ECC environment.
  • RCVS Registered Veterinary Surgeon.
  • Strong understanding of clinical ECC.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
