We have an exciting opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon to join our supportive, warm and ambitious team at Vets4Pets Cardiff Bay.
About us
You would be surrounded by a family-like team made up of our Practice Owner, Sam, 2 vets, a new grad vet, 3 qualified RVNs, 3 SVN's and 4 receptionists. Our colleagues believe in encouraging people's interests, so if you do have a particular certificate you would want to work toward, the practice is happy to support you with this.
The practice itself is purpose-built to industry-leading standards with state-of-the-art equipment including digital X-ray, ultrasound, bronchoscope, and electrocautery, as well as a visiting CT scanner. Located on Ferry Road Retail Park, we're surrounded by a wide range of shops including a number of places to treat yourself for lunch!
There is plenty of onsite parking, and we are a 5-minute drive away from the centre of Cardiff, located right near the River Taff with its array of restaurants and bars to enjoy any time outside of work.
About you
We're looking for a confident vet both in your clinical and communication skills with solid experience gained in a first opinion practice. This is a unique opportunity as it offers a real chance to develop and progress within your career.
Ideally, we're looking for an experienced part-time vet to join us (working 20-30 hours a week) including 1:3 Saturdays with no Sunday or OOH. We're open to discussing flexible working days and typically we work off a 3-week rolling rota.
