An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Veterinary Surgeon to join our friendly and supportive team here at Moor Cottage!

Why join us?
  • Be part of a fantastic team of 5 Vets, 7 RVNs, 2 SVNs, 2 PCAs and a wonderful support and client care team.
  • Work alongside colleagues with a wide range of interests including internal medicine, surgery, fear-free approaches, and feline medicine. We have an Advanced Practitioner in Feline Medicine and vets currently studying towards certificates.

Who we are

At Moor Cottage we have been serving the local community for more than 50 years by providing quality clinical care and services for small animals. We are RCVS accredited with an excellent combination of staff training and hi-tech equipment and facilities, which include a separate building dedicated to cats only, laparoscopy, endoscopy, dental suite with radiography and digital X-rays. In addition to cats, dogs and rabbits we also look after many other small mammals including guinea pigs, hamsters, rats, mice, gerbils, chinchillas, tortoises and birds. We are proud to work at special charity rates with several local charities and organisations in Bracknell, Wokingham and the surrounding areas to help support the good work that they do. We also regularly visit local schools and nurseries to talk about the work of vets and vet nurses to the potential veterinary talent of the future!

Who we are looking for

The ideal candidate will be a team player with great interpersonal skills and high clinical standards. This role involves a mixture of consults and surgery. Some evenings and all of Saturdays are sole charge, so you will be comfortable making clinical judgement.
