Job title: Veterinary Surgeon

Hours: 40 hours per week over 4 days, 1 in 5 Saturday rota , no OOH

Salary: Up to £53,000 per annum (Depending on experience)

Join us as a Veterinary Surgeon at Cinque Ports Tenterden where you can work up cases , carry out consults and surgeries , enjoying the best of both worlds in an exceptionally supportive environment!

Handle a mix of consults, operational shifts and periods of sole charge, working on a wide range of challenging cases while benefiting from the expertise of the wider Cinque Ports group

Be part of a small but mighty practice, where you can really excel in your role! We are a two-vet practice fully equipped with facilities including a surgical suite, dental x-ray, digital x-ray, new ultrasound, and in-house blood analysis

Deliver exceptional care in a truly supportive environment, with access to Vets Now at our Kingsnorth Hospital for overnight inpatient care

Collaborate with an experienced team with interests in surgery, radiography, anaesthesia, ophthalmology, dermatology and dentistry

Cinque Ports is an RCVS-Accredited Practice with extensive surgical, diagnostic, and medical facilities across 6 sites in the Kent/ East Sussex area. Kingsnorth is an RCVS-Accredited Hospital with Gold ISFM Accreditation and provides emergency care 24 hours a day, 365 days a year with Vets Now onsite providing continuity in cases and patient care. Our branches are more than satellite clinics: each one has its individual specialisms while offering the facilities required to work up cases and perform surgeries, and you will be supported by a full, experienced team of Registered Veterinary Nurses (RVN), that carry out both nurse consults and vaccinations.

We are excellently equipped including in-house laboratories, ECG, Endoscopy, ultrasound, dentistry x-ray, client care areas, digital radiography, doppler ultrasonography, laparoscopic equipment, and video endoscope and bronchoscope.

We are proud that Cinque Ports are working towards their Bronze accreditation from Investors in the Environment ( iiE ).
