Job description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Veterinary Ophthalmologist to join our amazing team at Southern Counties Veterinary Specialists on a full or part-time basis. If you are an experienced Ophthalmologist with a passion for veterinary care and want to be part of a growing, collaborative team, this is your opportunity.

You’ll work alongside a skilled and dedicated group of specialists, emergency doctors, and support staff who are committed to delivering the highest standard of care to our patients. Additionally, the ophthalmology department is supported by two dedicated, skilled, and knowledgeable ophthalmology nurses, ensuring you have the clinical support needed to provide excellent patient care. What We’re Looking For

We encourage applications from candidates who are RCVS, American, or European Boarded Diplomates or those who are residency trained, as well as individuals with Cert AVP status. You will have prior experience working in a multi-disciplinary referral hospital.

A Working Pattern That Provides a Work-Life Balance

Full-Time hours requires a commitment of 4 days per week, one night on call a week and a 1-4 weekend on call. We are also open to discussion Part Time working hours as well.
