Job Description:

If you enjoy providing great service and working in a team, we have an exciting opportunity at our Companion Care New Malden Practice. Our practice is scheduled for extension and refurbishment later this year, which is a very exciting prospect.

What your typical day will look like: Your focus is to provide exceptional service to our clients and the best care to their pets, acting as a link between clients and the clinical team. Building strong relationships with clients, their pets, and the practice team will be crucial to your success.

Your excellent client service during visits will ensure customer satisfaction and encourage clients to look forward to their next visit. You will greet clients, offer support, guidance, and expertise, manage payments, and handle future bookings confidently. Using our online booking system, you will coordinate the smooth daily routines of the practice.

You will also spend time answering phones to ensure clients can easily contact us and request assistance for their pets.

This is a part-time role with a flexible rota. We are seeking the right candidate!

  • You are calm, attentive, and focused on clients' and pets' needs.
  • You bring enthusiasm and passion for service and love of pets.
  • You can handle various situations, from comforting clients with bad news to celebrating a puppy’s first vet visit.
  • Your personality is infectious, creating a welcoming atmosphere with colleagues.
  • You embrace change and are open to sharing new ideas with the team.

In summary, you enjoy staying busy, helping people and pets, and making a difference.

Benefits: We offer a 20% discount at the Vet Group, Pets at Home, and the Groom Room, access to discounts and cashbacks, in-house career development, pension, and holiday allowance.

We value diversity and inclusivity, reflecting the communities we serve. We encourage applicants from all backgrounds to apply, even if your skills and experience do not exactly match the role requirements but you can contribute through your values and behaviors.
