Are you passionate about making pets a priority? Here at CVS, so are we! We are seeking an enthusiastic individual with a passion for animals to join us as a Veterinary Receptionist at Campsie Veterinary Centre.

Location: Omagh

Contract: Permanent

Hours: We currently have a vacancy for 25 hours per week and 40 hours per week – let us know on your application which vacancy you are applying for!

Shift Pattern: Monday – Friday with a share in the Weekend rota

Day-to-day Duties Of The Role Will Include

  • Answering phones and booking appointments
  • Responding to queries via phone, in person and email
  • Registering new clients
  • Completing insurance forms
  • Dispensing medications
  • Taking payments
  • And most importantly; providing a warm and welcoming experience to our clients arriving at the practice
What We're Looking For In Our Veterinary Receptionist
  • Previous Receptionist experience is essential, veterinary experience is a plus!
  • Resilient with the ability to cope with potentially distressing and emotional situations
  • An excellent communicator with strong empathy
  • Excellent customer service skills and experience in dealing with members of the public
  • A positive attitude and excellent teamwork skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other database management and operating systems
