Zetland Vets in Clifton, Bristol, is seeking a Receptionist to join our team in a full-time permanent role. You will be the first point of contact, delivering a welcoming, professional and compassionate experience to clients and their pets.

The role involves managing appointments, handling enquiries, and supporting client communications within a busy, RCVS-accredited practice. We offer 41 hours weekly, a mix of shifts, and opportunities for development within a caring, team‑oriented practice.

How You’ll Make a Difference

As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for clients, playing a key role in delivering a welcoming, professional and compassionate experience at every interaction.

You’ll support the smooth running of the practice by managing appointments, handling enquiries, supporting client communications and working closely with clinical and non-clinical colleagues to ensure a positive client and patient journey.

Working Pattern

We are looking for a new team member to work 41 hours per week, covering a mix of shifts between 8.30am-6.30pm Monday to Friday at Clifton Vets and Saturday 8.30am-5pm on a 1:4 rota at Zetland Road.

Key Responsibilities

• Working with the team to help the clinic run smoothly
• Offering friendly, compassionate care to clients and their pets
• Answering phone calls and emails
• Assisting with administrative tasks and scheduling appointments
• Keeping accurate records using our IT systems (training provided)
• Handling payments and client accounts
• Keeping the reception and consultation areas clean and tidy
