A veterinary practice in Wakefield is seeking a part-time veterinary receptionist. You will provide exceptional service to clients and care for their pets. This is an admin role, working 24 hours a week. You will work 2 days a week plus 9-5pm every Saturday. There will be opportunities to pick up extra shifts covering your colleague’s annual leave. Basic IT skills are essential for this role.
What your typical day will look like
Your focus is to provide exceptional service to our clients and the best care possible to their pets — serving as the vital link between clients and the clinical team. Building strong relationships with clients, their pets, and the practice team is key to your success.
Your main responsibilities include communicating with clients via phone, email, and digital messaging systems, scanning and filing documents, attaching files to patient records, and maintaining the appointment diary to ensure smooth daily operations.
Providing excellent client service during visits will ensure client satisfaction and foster positive experiences, encouraging future visits. You will greet clients, offer support and guidance, manage payments, and handle bookings confidently. Efficiently coordinating daily routines using our computer booking system requires good computer literacy.
