Overview

Are you passionate about making pets a priority? Here at CVS, so are we! We are seeking an enthusiastic individual with a passion for animals to join us as a Veterinary Receptionist at Earls Hall Westcliff-Hospital.

Location - Earls Hall Hospital and branch practices in Wickford, Ashingdon and Shoebury.

Contract - Permanent

Hours - 28 hours per week

Shift Pattern - Monday to Friday, flexible shifts e.g. 8am-2pm / 2pm-8pm, plus 1:6 Saturdays. To work flexibly at all Earls Hall sites when required during opening hours.

About the role

Day-to-day duties of the role will include:

  • Answering phones and booking appointments
  • Responding to queries via phone, in person and email
  • Registering new clients
  • Completing insurance forms
  • Dispensing medications
  • Taking payments
  • And most importantly; providing a warm and welcoming experience to our clients arriving at the practice
What we\'re looking for
  • Previous Receptionist experience is essential, veterinary experience is a plus!
  • Resilient with the ability to cope with potentially distressing and emotional situations
  • An excellent communicator with strong empathy
  • Excellent customer service skills and experience in dealing with members of the public
  • A positive attitude and excellent teamwork skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other database management and operating systems
