We are seeking a motivated and organized individual to join our expanding team as a Receptionist.

We take pride in delivering high-quality care with professionalism and are looking for someone to help us meet the increasing demand for our services. As a key member of our team, you will play an integral role in supporting the smooth operation of our office.

Key Responsibilities:

• Answering phone calls, managing orders and scheduling appointments
• General office cleaning and maintenance
• Independently opening the office (after training) and managing administrative duties during periods when you will at times be the sole office team member
• Executing task lists provided by practice management
• Other office duties as required

Fosse Way Farm Vets is an IVC farm-only practice that opened in November 2022. We formed as an established group of colleagues including five farm vets, two office staff, and two vet techs, who have worked together for many years, and since opening Fosse Way we have taken on new team members and rapidly become a highly reputable brand amongst the farming community. We are based in central Leicestershire and service dairy, beef and sheep farms throughout the county and surrounding areas.

More about you

The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar working environment, be computer literate and possess some farm animal awareness.

• Strong communication skills and confidence in dealing with clients and colleagues
• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
• Keen attention to detail and a strong sense of responsibility
• A positive attitude and the ability to work independently and as part of a team

This is a part-time role, working 25 hours per week, Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM, with flexibility to cover afternoons and weekends when required.
