A veterinary care provider in the UK is seeking a part-time veterinary receptionist to manage client interactions, appointments, and payments. The ideal candidate will possess excellent client service skills and experience in a team-oriented environment. Calling all animal lovers! Do you love spending time with animals as much as you do with customers? This is an opportunity to make a real difference to every pet and every client - yours will be the first face to greet them after all. As well as looking after the reception area and ensuring a great welcome for our clients, you'll be handling payments, processing repeat prescription requests and managing appointments. You'll need to be organised, friendly and calm in an emergency, with great customer skills and a genuine love of animals. Part time 32 hours a week working at the Dorchester 24 hour practice.
The ideal candidate will have excellent client facing and reception skills, experience of working as part of a team and building positive working relationships, client care skills, with the ability to remain calm under pressure and be diplomatic when needed. Able to prioritise a range of tasks and own workload, with good numeracy skills, and the ability to manage payments and cash up.
