About The Role

Are you a passionate and experienced Veterinary Receptionist looking for an exciting opportunity in Croydon?

Look no further! Here at Croydon Veterinary Surgery, we are looking for a dedicated individual to join our incredible team as a Veterinary Receptionist. Our practice is renowned for delivering exceptional care and service to our clients lovely pets.

Located between Southwest London and Surrey, our practice is home to certificate-holding surgeons and highly skilled GPs with strong interests in surgery, medicine, imaging, and more.

As a Veterinary Receptionist, you'll be the first point of contact for our clients, you'll be the friendly face and the first person our clients see when they walk through our doors, greeting clients with a smile and giving their pets a good old fuss!

You'll assist them with scheduling appointments, answering inquiries and providing general support.

This is a full time position with a mix of shifts between 8.30am to 7.30pm with 1:3 Saturday mornings.

Your day at Croydon Veterinary Surgery could include:

• Welcoming clients and their pets upon arrival
• Book appointments and arrivals on the RX Works diary
• Help to promote our Healthcare Plan so that pets are receiving premium discounted preventative treatment
• Booking in follow up appointments for the pet once they have left their initial consultation
• Help the Vet and Nurse team with queries
• Being responsible for paperwork being scanned onto pets digital records
• Liaison with clients regarding queries for appointment booking and medication collection
• Ordering food and medication
• Taking payment immediately after treatment of the pet
• 0% finance application processing for those clients wanting to spread the cost of payment for larger operations
• Managing an extremely busy reception desk with efficiency and professionalism

About You Ideally you will have:

• Previous Experience working as a Veterinary Receptionist or in a similar customer-facing role within the Veterinary or Medical Industry
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organisational abilities and be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• A genuine love for animals and a commitment to delivering outstanding client service
• Be proficient in computer systems and software
