We are seeking an enthusiastic individual with a passion for animals to join us as a Veterinary Receptionist at Arbury Road Vets.
Location: Arbury Road Vets, 32 Arbury Road, Cambridge CB4 2JE
Contract: Part-time or full-time depending on the candidate
Hours: Minimum 15 hours per week
Shift Pattern: Monday - Friday, including 1 in 3 Saturday mornings

About the role:
Day-to-day duties include:
- Answering phones and booking appointments
- Responding to queries via phone, in person, and email
- Registering new clients
- Completing insurance forms
- Dispensing medications
- Taking payments
- Providing a warm and welcoming experience to clients arriving at the practice
What we're looking for in our Veterinary Receptionist:
- Previous Receptionist experience is essential; veterinary experience is a plus!
- Resilient with the ability to handle potentially distressing and emotional situations
- An excellent communicator with strong empathy
- Excellent customer service skills and experience dealing with the public
- A positive attitude and strong teamwork skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other database management systems
