Qualifications

Job description

We have a fantastic opportunity available for a receptionist to join our Zetland Vets team, working across our Westbury and Patchway branches!

You will be the first point of contact for clients and the public both on the telephone and in person, demonstrating a professional and knowledgeable impression to promote the practice and instill confidence in our clients.

  1. Check and update vaccine and contact details during each visit or phone call.
  2. Organize appointment diary efficiently to maximize client consultations.
  3. Actively promote Pet Healthcare Plans and pet insurance.
  4. Ensure clients pay for services on the day of treatment.
  5. Keep the reception area clean and tidy, especially in preparation for the next working day.
  6. Adhere to all practice and reception policies and procedures to ensure excellent customer service.

A team of 17 vets and 15 nurses across 8 sites in Bristol, many with over a decade of experience, welcome you. We are an RCVS-accredited practice committed to delivering exceptional care to our patients and clients.

Your shift pattern

You will work approximately 33.5 hours weekly, including:

  • Monday: Westbury, 1:30 PM - 6:45 PM
  • Tuesday: Patchway, 8:30 AM - 2:00 PM
  • Wednesday: Patchway, 2:30 PM - 6:45 PM
  • Thursday: Westbury, 1:30 PM - 6:45 PM
  • Friday: 8:30 AM - 6:45 PM
  • One in four Saturdays at our Zetland Road hospital, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
