We are seeking an enthusiastic individual with a passion for animals to join us as a Veterinary Receptionist at Animal Health Centre.

Location: Bristol

Contract: Permanent

Hours: 33.5 hours per week

Shift Pattern: Monday - Friday 08.00 - 15.00 with a 1:4 share of the Saturday morning rota

About the role:

Day-to-day duties of the role will include:
  • Answering phones and booking appointments
  • Responding to queries via phone, in person and email
  • Registering new clients
  • Completing insurance forms
  • Dispensing medications
  • Taking payments
  • And most importantly; providing a warm and welcoming experience to our clients arriving at the practice


What we're looking for in our Veterinary Receptionist:
  • Previous Receptionist experience is essential, veterinary experience is a plus!
  • Resilient with the ability to cope with potentially distressing and emotional situations
  • An excellent communicator with strong empathy
  • Excellent customer service skills and experience in dealing with members of the public
  • A positive attitude and excellent teamwork skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other database management and operating systems
