Job summary

Inspiring Vet Care is seeking a Referral Veterinary Radiographer to join our imaging team, working with specialists and veterinary surgeons to deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging and excellent patient care.

You will perform radiography, CT, MRI and other imaging modalities, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and contribute ideas to enhance our imaging service. A full-time role with a 1:4 weekend/on-call rota is included.

Qualifications

• Must hold HCPC registration and a radiography degree.
• Experience in veterinary imaging is preferred.
• Strong clinical and technical imaging skills are essential.
• Solid understanding of patient positioning and radiation safety.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality diagnostic imaging across radiography, CT, MRI and other modalities.
• Collaborate with specialists, surgeons and nurses in a multidisciplinary team.

How You’ll Make a Difference

As a Referral Veterinary Radiographer, you will play a key role within our imaging team, working alongside specialists, certificate holding veterinary surgeons and nurses to provide high-quality diagnostic imaging and an excellent experience for our patients and clients.

The role will involve supporting a wide range of imaging procedures, with opportunities to develop and utilise your skills across radiography, CT, MRI and other advanced imaging modalities.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong interest in diagnostic imaging who enjoys working collaboratively within a specialist-led environment and is passionate about delivering a high standard of patient care. You will be an excellent team player, able to build positive working relationships across a multidisciplinary team. You will also be comfortable taking responsibility for your own workload, using your initiative and contributing ideas to improve our imaging service.

We’re Looking For a Qualified Radiographer With a Passion For Diagnostic Imaging And a Commitment To Delivering Outstanding Patient Care Within a Referral Setting. You’ll Bring

• HCPC registration with a DCR or BSc (Hons) in Diagnostic Radiography
• Membership of the Society of Radiographers (desirable)
• Excellent clinical and technical imaging skills
• Previous experience working in a veterinary imaging environment
• A good understanding of patient positioning, image acquisition and radiation safety
• A proactive approach to patient care and clinical standards
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• The ability to work calmly and effectively in a busy hospital environment
• A genuine commitment to teamwork and collaborative working
• A willingness to continue learning and developing professionally

Working Pattern

A full‑time role with us comprises 40hrs per week over 5 days, Monday to Friday. There is also a 1:4 weekend and bank holiday on‑call rota, which is shared with other members of the team.
