Overview

We are hiring! Clare Veterinary Group is seeking a motivated cleaner to join the team. This position will be based mostly at the Ballyclare site, but will include some deep cleaning shifts at our branches in Cavehill, Carrickfergus and Whiteabbey, therefore flexibility to travel between branches is essential.

Role and responsibilities

In a veterinary setting it is important to adhere to a high level of infection control and cleanliness. The role involves cleaning and disinfection in our small and large animal, clinical and non-clinical areas, following set protocols. Specific areas include waiting areas, reception, consult rooms, staff room, bathrooms, clinical areas, large animal rooms and accommodation for out of hours staff.

Hours and flexibility

The position would ideally be full time; however, we are open to discussing flexibility in the number of hours worked or a part-time role for the ideal candidate. To enable cleaning of busy areas during quieter times, some hours may be early morning or late evening. Rota and hours can be discussed as part of the interview process.
