Job summary

CVS Vets is seeking a Veterinary Patient Care Assistant with Reception Duties to support our Harwood and Tottington sites. You will provide nursing support, assist Vets and RVNs, and handle client reception tasks on a 40-hour week schedule (Mon-Fri, some Saturday rota).

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service and reception is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication and empathy when interacting with clients.
• Familiarity with veterinary software or database systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide front-desk reception duties and appointment scheduling.
• Support veterinary team with patient handling and welfare.
• Process payments and manage client communications.
• Assist with general practice administration and file updates.
