Job summary

Inspiring Vet Care's Southern Counties Veterinary Specialists in the UK is seeking a veterinary surgeon for a 12-month ophthalmology internship. This role offers an excellent pathway to ophthalmology residency and future specialist training in a busy referral environment.

You will work with experienced clinicians, take part in ward rounds, case discussions and governance activities, and receive mentorship while gaining exposure to advanced ophthalmic diagnostics and procedures.

Qualifications

• Veterinary degree and RCVS registration.
• Experience working in a clinical veterinary team.
• Strong organisational and time-management abilities.
• Clear and confident communication with a collaborative approach.
• Interest in evidence-based veterinary medicine and best practice.
• Professionalism, resilience and calm in a busy clinical environment.
