Job description

Anderson Moores Veterinary Specialists is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Oncologist to join our multi-disciplinary referral hospital in the heart of Hampshire. Whether you are a board-certified specialist or a residency-trained clinician preparing for boards, we offer a supportive and collaborative environment where you can thrive professionally and make a meaningful impact on the lives of pets and their families. As a Veterinary Oncologist at Anderson Moores, you will:

  • Deliver high-quality, evidence-based oncology care to small animal patients.
  • Collaborate closely with our internal medicine, surgery, cardiology, dermatology, dentistry, neurology, physiotherapy, anaesthesia and imaging teams, to provide integrated, multi-disciplinary treatment plans.
  • Participate in clinical rounds, case discussions, and contribute to the hospital's CPD and teaching programmes.
  • Engage with referring vets and pet owners with empathy and clarity, ensuring excellent communication and continuity of care.
  • Contribute to clinical research and development of oncology services within the hospital.

    Board-certified (ECVIM-CA or ACVIM) or residency-trained in veterinary oncology.
  • Strong clinical skills and a commitment to patient welfare.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • A collaborative mindset and enthusiasm for working in a team-focused environment.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK and registration with the RCVS (or ability to obtain).

    5 weeks holiday plus bank holidays and Birthday Leave (Holiday days and bank holiday days would be pro-rata for a 4-day week)
