Job Opportunity: Veterinary Nursing Lecturer

Our client is seeking a Veterinary Nursing Lecturer to join their team.

Rate of Pay: £19.55

Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm

Duration: 12 months

Start date: As soon as possible

Job Duties:
  1. Lecturing to Level 2 Veterinary Care Support and Level 3 Veterinary Nursing students.
  2. Preparation and delivery of teaching sessions.
  3. Assessment of students' work.
  4. Participation in college activities.
  5. Involvement in quality assurance processes.
Essential Experience & Qualifications:
  • Hold a veterinary qualification at honours degree level or higher.
  • Be technically competent in the area and subject for which they are delivering training.
  • Have recent relevant experience in the specific area they will be delivering and assessing.
  • Be occupationally knowledgeable in the area of training.
  • Be currently registered with the RCVS.
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
  • Hold or be working towards a nationally recognised teaching or assessing qualification.
