Job description

We are now looking to recruit a Registered Vet Nurse to join the team at a small animal hospital in the City of Dundee area, Scotland.

Role

• excellent full time opportunity on day rota with occasional weekends and no OOH
• practice is a busy hospital and is fully equipped with up to date equipment and technologies
• varied surgical workload including TPLO, laparoscopic work and on-site CT scanner.
• role would suit an RVN with good general small animal nursing experience.
• interesting and varied role includes; Admission and Discharge, general nursing care during hospitalisation e.g. administration of medicines, IV Fluids, blood sampling, monitoring of anaesthetics and assisting vets as required, nurse clinics etc.
• large but very friendly and supportive nursing team that enjoy regularly getting together socially,
• CPD is encouraged and supported.
• well located in the lovely coastal city of Dundee in the Tayside area of Scotland.
  
  

Requirements:

• Qualified Vet Nurse
• Registered with RCVS
• good general small animal nursing skills.
  
  

Salary package:

• Salary to £32,000.00 per annum to reflect your experience
• CPD, paid holidays, paid professional fees, pension scheme, staff discounts etc
