We are seeking a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team at Medivet Streatham.

Medivet Streatham, situated in vibrant SW London, offers excellent facilities, including a spacious prep room, adjoining operating theatre, two consult rooms, dedicated x-ray/scan room, separate cat and dog wards, and a large reception area.

The clinic has a loyal client base and a varied caseload, allowing for thorough workups. Your support team would include a Registered Veterinary Nurse, two experienced Veterinary Care Assistants, and a part-time Practice Manager, with room to grow.

Role Accountabilities

• Deliver exceptional care to clients.
• Support surgeries and procedures, completing all pre- and post-procedure activities.
• Carry out nurse-led appointments and schedule related activities.
• Provide patient monitoring and care.
• Manage admissions and discharges as directed by the Veterinary team.
• Complete patient transfers to out-of-hours or enhanced care.
• Dispense and check medication.
• Ensure professional standards and regulatory compliance.
• Hold team briefings to coordinate practice activities.

Your Skills and Experience

• RCVS registered Veterinary Nurse.
• Experience in delivering exceptional patient and client care.
• Effective team working skills.
• Experience supporting nurse consultations and understanding their contribution to practice efficiency.
• Coaching and influencing skills to motivate colleagues.
