Qualifications

  • Eligibility or registration with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS).
  • Experience in triage, emergency nursing, and inpatient care.

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional nursing care for 200 cats and 200 dogs.
  • Conduct trial-related procedures like phlebotomy.
  • Participate in on-call rotations (1 weekend in 4, 1 night per week).

The Role
  • Provide exceptional nursing care for 200 cats and 200 dogs
  • Perform triage, emergency nursing, and inpatient care for pets of all ages
  • Conduct trial-related procedures like phlebotomy, with training provided
  • Collaborate with research teams and trainers to support a healthy animal population
  • Participate in on-call rotations (1 weekend in 4, 1 night per week)
Successful Candidate
  • Eligibility or registration with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS).
  • A degree or diploma in Veterinary Nursing (BSc, FdSc, or equivalent).
  • Experience in triage, emergency nursing, inpatient care, and anesthetic monitoring.
  • A team player with independent working skills and a passion for learning.
  • (Preferred) Experience teaching or mentoring peers or student nurses.
