Veterinary Nurse - Oxfordshire

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a modern, well-equipped practice just outside Oxford, where you will be part of a friendly, experienced, and supportive team. Following a recent expansion and refurbishment, the practice now boasts state-of-the-art facilities, including a CT scanner and digital X-ray, allowing for exceptional patient care and advanced diagnostics.
In this role, you will enjoy a varied and fulfilling workload, including a mix of nursing and surgical duties, alongside opportunities to mentor and support Student Veterinary Nurses. The practice is looking for a nurse who is passionate about emergency and critical care, thrives on working to gold-standard clinical care, and is eager to lead and inspire the nursing team. You will have the autonomy to develop nurse-led clinics and Schedule 3 procedures, while also playing a key role in patient monitoring, surgical assistance, medication dispensing, and post-operative care.
The ideal candidate will be a confident and compassionate RCVS Registered Veterinary Nurse, with experience in leading a clinical team, implementing progressive clinical culture, and mentoring colleagues to bring out their best.
