Job description

Veterinary Nurse - Norfolk

  • Join a truly longstanding and community trusted practice with deep roots in Norfolk, where some team members have been proudly serving for nearly 40 years.
  • Enjoy a varied and engaging nursing role with dedicated nurse consult clinics, including health checks, post-ops, and weight clinics.
  • Work in a well-equipped, supportive environment with two theatres, multiparameter monitors, and regular clinical meetings that foster development and collaboration.
  • Benefit from a competitive salary starting from £26,000 per annum, along with a generous benefits package and encouragement for further study and career progression.

This practice has cared for generations of pets and built deep rooted relationships with the local community. With some team members approaching their 40th anniversaries, this is a practice where people come to stay and thrive.

The team includes three Veterinary Surgeons and five Registered Veterinary Nurses who work seamlessly together to deliver exceptional care. Typically, two vets handle procedures daily alongside consultations, with an additional vet focusing purely on consults. Nurses play an integral role, running daily consult clinics covering everything from health checks and second vaccinations to post-operative reviews and weight clinics.

This purpose built practice is fully equipped with two operating theatres, a tub table, multiparameter monitors, and a doppler, providing the ideal clinical environment to grow and learn. The team meets regularly for clinical and branch meetings, fostering collaboration, high standards, and shared learning. Whether you're newly qualified or bring years of experience, you’ll be joining a supportive and friendly team that values development and encourages further study and clinical progression.

If you're seeking a role in a welcoming, organised, and community-focused environment where your skills will be valued and nurtured — this could be your perfect next step!
